A+ content on Amazon

A+ Content is the section below the fold on the Amazon product page where sellers can add custom images, comparison charts, and extra copy. It’s available to sellers who are part of the Amazon Brand Registry.

It gives you more space to give more information about the products, visually and with fewer limits than bullet points or the title itself. Sellers have enough space to explain the “why” behind your product, show off features, and reinforce trust which is one of the most significant things of the buying process.

Good A+ content can increase conversion rates by up to 10%, according to Amazon, especially when A+ answers the common questions or objections a customer has right before buying.

Why focus on A+ content #

A+ Content helps shoppers feel more confident. It removes doubt, adds context, and makes potential customers feel like the product is a better, safer choice than the one next to it.

It’s also a big help for:

  • Reducing returns by setting the right expectations
  • Increasing time on page (engagement)
  • Showing off brand’s tone and visuals

A+ content structure #

Keep the content clean, visual-first, and focused on what matters to the shopper. Here are the sections the A+ content should include:

Hero section #

Start with a lifestyle image of the product being used. Add a short, benefit-driven headline (think 5–7 words). Something that shows what the product helps them do.

Feature highlights #

Use 3–4 sections to break down key features. Use a mix of text + visuals here. For example:

  • “Built to Last” → add an image of the materials
  • “Quick Setup in Under 60 Seconds” → show it mid-install

Think about what the customer needs to hear to say “Yes.”

Use-case or lifestyle photos #

Show the product in real life. If it’s a kitchen tool, show it being used. If it’s a supplement, show how it fits into someone’s daily routine. Help customers picture themselves using it.

Brand section #

Wrap things up with a short bit about a brand. Why did you build this? What problem are you solving?

A+ content images #

In the A+ content, visuals should do most of the work. Avoid using only product photos from the main image stack. Instead:

  • Add zoom-ins or close-ups
  • Show texture or material where relevant
  • Use icons or overlays to reinforce the message
  • Add UGC or testimonials

General tips for better A+ content #

  • Use short, clear headlines
  • Keep descriptions light
  • Bold key points
  • Avoid over-explaining things people can see in the photos
